What are the cake toppers made from?
They are made from polymer clay and once baked, they turn into a strong and durable material that will last a lifetime. The polymer clay conforms to the European Standard EN 71 part 5 and bears the ACMI-Seal AP "non toxic".
How soon should I place my order?
As soon as you can, as I get booked up very quickly. The longer you wait, the less chance your date will be available in my diary. I will let you know when I need all the details from you, which is usually at least 5 weeks before your wedding day.
How big are the cake toppers?
They are approx 5 - 5.5 inches tall and the bases measure around 4 inches (10cm) in diameter for bride and groom figures. Adding extra items such as children or pets may increase the base size.
Can you make vehicles?
Unfortunately, I no longer offer vehicles due to the amount of time they take to create to a high standard.
Ordering
I would like to order a cake topper. What do I need to do?
Please email me at artlockedesigns@googlemail.com with your wedding date and an idea of what you would like to order. I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Do you accept a deposit or full payment upfront?
Full payment is required upon booking your slot. Details of the outfits are not needed until about 5 weeks before your wedding day.
What payments do you accept?
I accept PayPal or bank transfer.
Once I have recieved your email with what you would like to order and you are happy with the total price, I will send you an invoice through PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to pay. After payment is received your slot will be secured in my diary, and I will send you a form to fill out with all the required details needed to start your cake topper.
How do I send my completed questionnaire form with photos?

When will I receive my cake topper?
Toppers are made in wedding date order, so you will receive your topper approx 2 - 3 weeks before your wedding day.
Can I cancel my order?
I offer a full refund if you give a minimum of one month's notice before your wedding day or date of travel.
Delivery
How do you pack the toppers?
Your topper will be wrapped in white tissue paper before being placed into a cardboard box filled with packing peanuts. This box is then placed inside another cardboard box with additional packing peanuts for maximum protection.
What if my topper arrives damaged?
This rarely happens, but small breakages can usually be repaired using superglue (a version with a brush is ideal)
Alternatively you can send the topper back to me for a repair.
Aftercare / Display
How do I display my topper in my home after the wedding?
Many couples like to keep their topper on show after the big day. A popular option is to place it inside a glass dome or bell cloche, which helps protect it from dust and sunlight while keeping it looking lovely on display.
Will my topper last?
Yes, your topper will last a lifetime providing it is treated as an ornament and not dropped or damaged.
